Art Mudra Gallery & Studio – An Evidence of Commitment to Art

Brainchild of gallerist Daxa Khandwala, the Art Mudra Gallery & Studio was founded in 2009 in Mumbai with a vision to promote Contemporary Indian Art. The renowned art space functions on one philosophy – art is open to all. The gallerist has been continuously involved in the seeking and encouraging emerging talent and promoting eminent artists across the globe.

Apart from showcasing artworks of from the nouveau niche at Art Mudra, the venue also hosts an array of art workshops and camps.

Art Mudra is well known in the Middle East for bringing to them the best of Indian art at several shows for collectors and connoisseurs. In 2017, World Art Dubai awarded Art Mudra the ‘Best Regional Gallery’ certificate.

The gallery also carries a wide range of paintings and sculptures from Indian-origin artists working with various mediums from the US, UK and UAE.

Our collection includes Akbar Padamsee, Bose Krishnamachari, S.H Raza, F.N.Souza, B Prabha, Tyeb Mehta, Paresh Maity, Ajay De, H R Das, Jaganath Paul,Ganesh Pyne, ThotaVaikuntam, ManjeetBawa, LaxmaGoud, Shakti Barman, Suhas Roy, Anjolie Ela Menon, Prabhakar Kolte and many more prominent artists.

On this date, the gallery feels a sense of pride in collecting of over a thousand artworks, a few of which are on display on the website. Apart from the works of Masters, the gallery stocks paintings, prints, drawings and other artworks of artists who have tremendous talent and have a promisingfuture.
